The wedding rate is $89 a night.  When you contact them ask for the Blackard/Whittier Wedding.  If you have any questions or problems please let me know.  

The only parking available is valet, it's $10 a day with in/out privileges.  The Aquarium is just a few blocks from the hotel. 

Bridesmaid: Kelly Watson

Kelly and I met at UNT in the fall of 1998.  She was studying flute and voice and I managed to convince her to play cymbals for the UNT drumline that fall.  We had such an incredible, inseparable year together!  Even though that was the only year we have ever lived in the same town, we've managed to stay the best of friends!  She has seen me though every stage of the last 10 years.  After living in New York for a while she met her fiance, Aaron, and they moved to his home in Berlin, Germany.  It's amazing to believe, but she's almost been living there a year.  Kelly has a lot of exciting things going on in Berlin, she's starting a Suzuki flute studio, a new band, planning a NYC wedding, and learning German!  On top of that,  on May 3, Kelly is being featured as a guest artist with the Mid-Texas Symphony.  =) Kelly has always been such a positive inspirational person in my life, my wedding wouldn't be the same without her!  

Groomsmen: Kevin McNulty

Where do I began with Kevin?  We've known Kevin since UNT, he's also a percussionist, and he and Evan have worked together for the last 5 years at Richland High School in North Richland Hills, Texas.   We've probably spent more time with him than just about anyone and yet I can't find a SINGLE picture of us together.  No pictures of Evan and Kevin anywhere.  Evan was a groomsmen in Kevin's wedding last summer and still...no pictures.  I had the incredible honor of playing marimba in his wedding...no pictures.  Just this past weekend we all hung out at a fabulous BBQ and tons of pictures were taken...none of Evan and Kevin.  So, with that being said, here is a picture of Kevin and his beautiful wife Nicole, with Evan and Corey in the background.

Kevin is from Chicago and he and Nicole now live in Haltom City.  Evan proposed in their backyard!  Kevin, Evan and Corey all used to live together in Denton and have many many stories of their time together.  You might need to use earmuffs though when they tell them.  Just last month, Kevin and Corey took Evan to Lake Tahoe for a bachelor week in the mountains.  We are so glad to have both Kevin and Nicole in our life and for them to share in our wedding day with us.  We love you both!  (and Nicole, do you have any pictures of the two of them??)  =)
