Happy Holidays!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!  Evan and I have one more day of work left before our break!  We are spending the week at home and my parent's house in Plano before heading to NM to meet up with his family on the 26th.  A couple things we're excited about, "Reindeer Games" at the Bird's on Monday.  It's a ridiculously fun touch football game with friends.  It's incredibly unlikely, but I'm hoping for snow.  =)  Also, we have another party, this time in Rhome (if it sounds country, it is country)!  And as always, this time of year is great because of the friends that come in town.  My good friend Kelly that now lives in Berlin will be here, two friends from elementary school, Elizabeth and Jessica, my Harvard/Ironman friend Melissa, and of course the best ever...Mitchell!

I hope everyone enjoys any and all time off they have!  Last year I had post-snowboard vacation blues pretty bad so it's nice to have wedding planning to come home too!

Love to all!

These amazing pictures were taken by Gary C. Allison.  Gary is the father of Evan and I's friend, Rob.  He was great throughout the whole process and we feel so lucky that he was able to take some pictures for us!  You can also view these pictures on his website, PhotozbyGary.com under Engagement Photos, password "michelle."

Tic-Tack Think Tank

Mitchell (my brother) has a new website...check it out!

Tic-Tac Think Tank
http://sites.google.com/site/tictacthinktank

Social change through common sense innovation!

Be a part of one of the most exciting collections of thinkers this world has ever known.  As you pass through this world, you see lots of things that don't make sense.  You, great thinker, have even come up with solutions to the asinine problems you face during your daily life.  Now, we have a forum to present these brilliant, yet common sense, ideas to the world.

Help us start this groundbreaking movement.  Tic Tac is currently in its infancy stage and we need your ideas to make this happen.  On the website you'll see just a couple of ideas I have already come up with, but we need more.

Think big, think small, think local, think global, JUST THINK!

"Why yes, I'll have some wine, thanks." "Wait a minute, is that a Sloth right next to me?!"

I'm so excited that our custom domain is up and running!  I also had some good news yesterday with regard to our reception decorations.  It's going to be so fun!   This "Sloth Crossing" sign is right by the bar in the Rainforest section of the Dallas World Aquarium.  I'll post more info on the famous Three-Toed Sloth that sleeps next to the bar soon!

Holy Crap, I'm Engaged!! Evan's Proposal

Our good friends Kevin and Nicole helped me throw Evan a 30th birthday party at their house.  It was on July 25, 2008 and we invited everyone over for burgers, beer and games.  As the party went on, Evan gathered everyone together to thank them for throwing his party and to say happy birthday to me because it was just my birthday, and to say congrats to Amanda because she's pregnant, and Courtney and Rob just celebrated their 6 month anniversary, on and on.  I thought it was so funny and was totally unaware of where he was going with all this.  Then he said he just wanted to say a few more words about me and the next thing I know he's saying the most romantic, loving words and he's on his knee with a beautiful ring.  It was such a surprise for me and really really special to be able to share it with our friends.  My MOH Courtney then handed me a "Happy Engagement" card!  Some of our friends had been in on Evan's plan the whole time!  It was the most memorable and special engagement I could have ever imagined.  I'm still tearing up at the memories of it.
